We had an appointment with our RE this morning to discuss the treatment for this cycle. The game plan: one more round of 150 mg Clomid, with hCG trigger, and timed intercourse.
It will be our last cycle of ovulation inducing meds. It is recommended (I wish I knew the formal name of the body that recommends this) that women only take meds like clomiphene for 6 cycles in their lifetime, due to an increased risk of ovarian cancer when used more than that. We could sign a waiver, but Josh and I agree that is not a risk we are willing to take. We will pursue other options if it comes to that, including injectables and IVF.
In the meantime we are just keeping our fingers crossed!
